Frequently asked questions

A session is 40 minutes and takes place once a week, the same day, same time and same place. 

Should parents be divorced it is always in the child's best interest to have both parents involved in the therapeutic relationship. If one parent does not want to be part of the therapeutic relationship, the therapist still requires permission from both parents for therapy to take place. 

The first feedback session will usually be scheduled after at least six to eight sessions. 

I do provide reports on request (additional fees apply) as indicated on the agreement form. Parents may choose to share this report with the school to provide the teacher with some more information on the child's emotional needs. However, therapeutic processes differ from forensic assessments. Information gathered during therapy is not used for legal purposes.
